I’m proud & excited to announce that in combination with Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) that MatchFit Conditioning has been selected to provide specific Strength & Conditioning programs for all off-contract A-League players. It’s a privilege to be able to work with elite athletes & help keep them in top shape. #MatchFit #PFA

Introducing “MatchFit InSeason” - Starting Friday, June 1st 4pm-5pm.
What is “InSeason”? It’s an intensive 1 hour football (soccer) session for players 10-16 years of age. The players will be introduced proper warm-up & injury prevention methods, sprinting/running technique, football skills (coached by former Mariners player Liam Rose) & finish with a small-sided game.
The session will replicate what professional players do on a day before a game!

Sometimes we/I forget to look up & appreciate what nature has to offer. I took a bit of time out this afternoon. I’ll be taking more time tomorrow. #Nature #NoFilter
On Friday night - I had a rather large Asthma attack. The first “big one” in a long time. A combination of management & experience meant that I had updated my medications a few weeks ago. I’ve always experienced a bit more “wheeziness” in the change of season & the dry weather has also played a part with irritants etc. Anyway - It saved us a trip to hospital at a very inconvenient hour.
Why am I sharing this with you? After my “episode”, I started thinking. Have I been eatin...g well? (No). Have I been getting enough sleep? (No). Have I been exercising enough? (No).
A lot of people treat their car (or ride on mower in my case) better than their own body. So my advice - Get to the mechanic (doctor) & get a check up. Regularly service your engine (body) & eat well & hydrate. Take your engine for a drive around the block & exercise.
My simple changes are: - Go to bed earlier & rise earlier - Prepare meals & eat less processed foods - Exercise more - Lose a few kilo’s (IN WINTER!!!) I’ll be using a fantastic supplement called #KetoOS to help me with this

Alex has worked extremely hard over the last few months & played his first competitive football match in six months recently. His first game back was a great starting point for what looks like will be - A successful season for Alex.
