Mavericks On Darby

We stopped off here to watch The Richmond vs GWS game. For the first half of the game they had the volume on and there was a good atmosphere in the pub. Then as Richmond started to win they turned the volume off and put the jukebox on. I could see some of the bartenders were GWS fans and probably were upset.

Halfway through the third quarter they put the volume back on otherwise we would of rioted. My girlfriend ordered some bruscetta and chips, we really enjoyed the food. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that they had a hissy fit when GWS and turned the volume off, that was poor form. It's a decent pub and worth visiting.

I once went to a bar and had a really good time with my mates, and everyone had a few laughs - guess what? It wasn't the Maverick. A very ordinary "Sports" Bar that isn't worth visiting.

The atmosphere of an operating theatre. Clinical cold and sterile. Make a trip to the morgue for a more inviting environment.

I thought the food was yummy. The place itself physically was lovely but a bit lacking in atmosphere. Some great dance music playing would have been the buzz.

Amazing!
Going for a walk in the afternoon I should've never ate chips while going back home, but who cared! I went to The Mavericks because it was the nearest.

The food that I had was extremely extraordinary, I had a Beef Burger and Chips.

The burger was delicious along with the chips!

So, when we went back home I found something very amazing about the food... because it had put a smile on my face!

Go ahead and try it!

Midday most days is not real great for just popping in for a take away coffee. if you can get the guy on the phone who's supposed to serve you to be more interested in helping customers than you might have a win if you got another 20 mins for him to make it and then you can enjoy the horrible taste

Went to Mavericks last night, food was absolutely delicious. We were a party of abour 20 and everyone was commenting on how awesome the food was. Thanks very much to the chef and also the delightful young waitress for making it a most enjoyable evening

Had lunch there on Saturday - my seafood linguini was absolutely delicious!! My husband had the squid and I asked if chips were served with it and the waiter said yes but they weren't. He was a bit disappointed in his meal. But we will definitely be back to try something else. Waiter was very nice and friendly. Lovely atmosphere.
