My business story is one that grew out of passion and expertise. My journey started in 2013 as a professional makeup artist, managing Napoleon Perdis in Canberra. During my time at NP I was able to work on all different skin types, face shapes and features, which enabled me to gain the expertise that I have today.

After returning to my home town of Wagga Wagga in November 2014, I started my own business in Makeup; Makenzie Montgomery Makeup Artistry.

Throughout my work in makeup and studying facial features, I noticed a lack of brow specialists throughout the Riverina. This was a turning point for me in my career as I was becoming more and more passionate about brows and the key role they play in how you are perceived. Eyebrows map the face and frame the eyes, the wrong brow shape can age you by 5 years. The right brow shape will enhance your eyes and give you a lifted, youthful appearance.

I began working full-time as a brow specialist in October 2016 out of LPL Studio in Wagga Wagga. My aim was to provide a specialist service offering Brow Henna, something that was unheard of in the region at the time. I then went on to open my own salon for a brief time, but after some health complications and learning I was expecting a baby boy in November 2018, I made the transition to work from home part-time in order to focus on my health and the health of my baby.

I am confident throughout my time studying, being taught by well-respected professionals and carrying out my specialised services I have gained the knowledge to give my clients the best service and aftercare advice.

I am driven by my clients and determined to give them the very best, they are the reason I endeavour to do what I do and the results are just as satisfying for myself as they are for them.
