Penny has been a great help repairing some vintage brooches & badges from the 1st & second World war that I have bought from eBay, She doesn't charge the earth & She is great to communicate with, Highly recommended.

Meakins Jewellers, and Penny, have been my go to jeweller for over 5 years now. She has made several custom gifts for me, including; a bracelet, pearl necklace and most recently an engagement ring. I cannot speak more highly of the quality or service that you will receive at Meakins, it is in a class all on its own!
Penny’s skill, warmth and experience are simply amazing! She walks you through every decision with confidence and detail; and her work product is better than anything you will find elsewhere.
On a personal note, as a man trying to design and buy an engagement ring… this is a daunting task… however Penny made it an effortless and stress free experience, and my now fiancé loves her custom engagement ring.

My now fiancé, designed and created my engagement ring at Meakins with Penny. I can not vouch for the experience (though he raves it was exceptional) but I can offer the highest praise possible for the end result. I couldn't be happier with the ring, it suits my hand and my personal style so very well. It is individual, comfortable to wear and I have resorted to gazing at my hand and collecting complements from all who see it. I can't thank you enough, Penny, for crafting the perfect piece that I will treasure forever.

Less than one star would be appropriate in this case. I had my engagement and wedding rings enlarged. It seems the job was too difficult as the rings were stretch to the point where they are now paper thin, out of shape and the diamonds have dropped out of the wedding band. I liked the thickness of my rings prior to the adjustment and not at any point was I told that the end result would be paper thin rings. The jeweller compromised the integrity of the original setting by overstretching the rings. I have to go elsewhere to fix this mess and have them reset costing more dollars.
