Megan Phillips Dance Academy began operating in 2017. Prior to this, the academy was known as INXS Dance Academy. INXS began operating in 2011.

Megan Phillips Dance Academy, prides itself in offering quality dance tuition at affordable prices.

Megan has had extensive dance training in all styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, cabaret and musical theater.

Megan was trained locally in Lismore by Wendy Kennedy, under the Ballet Australasia Limited (BAL) Syllabus and has also completed the Korobushka National Character Syllabus, devised by the late Shirley Sweeney.

Megan attended the Brent Street School of Performing Arts full time program in Sydney before returning to teach locally in Lismore and open her own academy.

Megan also has a degree in Human Movement Science.

Megan is also joined by an expert team of teachers including Kara Robinson, Claire Dowling, Trish Bailey and Latisha Fairfull.

The academy offers all styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, cabaret and musical theatre as well as acro classes, exams and eisteddfods. Classes are available for ages 3yrs to adult.
