A beautiful park with lots of room to play or kick a ball. Close to coffee shops too!
Quiet with nice old trees
Lovely park with very old trees around
The Entrance water ways were in the most lovely condition that we have seen for years. Fresh water flowing into the Tuggerah Lakes. The public gardens and grounds were in beautiful condition. Visited on a Tuesday, so very relaxing and unhurried. A few nice shops didn't survive winter. That's always a shame. Chrome fest this weekend will no doubt be fabulous. Look at the calendar for some upcoming events... I picked up a brochure and several things looked good for family.
Lovely views of the waterways at The Entrance. Get a beautiful old fashioned Apple Pie from the pie shop just around the corner, a coffee and just relax with water views... and pelicans. Pelican feeding at 3pm each day. Very enjoyable experience
Free parking available. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Great for prams. Playground has been revamped and kids seem to love it. Bring cash if you want to let the kids on the carnival rides because they are very expensive.
Beautiful place to go out with the family, amazing scenery and nice paths to go for a walk. A BIG plus is the free all day parking. Also great for prams if you are looking to take your little one out 😊
Great place for family and children. Everyday at 3:30 pm there is pelican feeding which attracts crowds. Larer, you can spot them around the park and beach. It has a play area, BBQ area and restroom and loads of parking.
During summer, people often hunt shrimps as the water gets shalow.
It's an amazing place with "FREE" parking and the home of the Pelican show. Saturdays is markets day and there's always s guitarist or event on the main stage. Just the best place to take your fold up chair, get some rays, listen to music and EAT
A nice place to go to for a walk or a family outing. Large grass area is great for flying a kite or a picnic. The playground have recently been updated. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. And, of course, there's the great view!
Love it. Everything you coul want is nearby. Also has pelican feeding, playground & more. Great for a day out.
what a magical place.. watching pelican feeding is unique experience. the point where the river meets the ocean is simply soul soothing
Nothing could compare to this park when I was a child, when it was filled with one-of-a-kind play equipment that was fantastical and amazing. Those things were almost all removed in the name of public safety (such a shame) though I was glad to see four still remaining, albeit some of the most tame and boring (where's the rocket ship and the giant?). Still, a lovely big park in a beautiful part of the world.
Park is great for the kids
The only negative is the toilets not well mark and to far from the play ground
Great Park, with awful public toilets.
One of my favourite parks. I wish the Rocket was still here though (when I was a kid I used to love climbing on the big rocket ship structure in the kids playground. I think it was removed some time ago due to safety reasons)
