Mercedes-Benz Parramatta Description
Mercedes-Benz Parramatta, formerly known as Marshalls Motors, was incorporated in Sydney in 1930. Marshalls Motors was founded by Alfred J Marshall. The company began trading as a used car dealership in Castlereagh Street, Sydney. By 1938 Marshalls Motors had developed into the largest used car dealer in Sydney, and in that year opened the first ever designed and built open car yard, on the corner of Church & Early Streets Parramatta. By this stage branches were also operating in St Leonards, Bankstown, Mascot & Broadway.
In 1947, Marshalls Motors moved from Early Street to the corner of Church & Meehan Streets to house a new and used truck division. In 1958 the company obtained the franchise to sell Mercedes-Benz.
A new Mercedes-Benz Autohaus facility was constructed and completed in 2009 at the current site; 306 Church Street, Granville (Cnr Church & Meehan Streets). In November 2013 the dealership was renamed Mercedes-Benz Parramatta.
Today, the dealership trades as a Mercedes-Benz franchise incorporating New and Pre-Owned Passenger Car Sales, Service, Parts, Finance & Insurance.
