Mercure Charlestown

A nice place to stay as long as you don’t have to use the internet for work. Really bad service.

Work function on the pool deck. Nice view, finger food was good. We all had a good time.

Really nice staff and experience with the room, would definitely go again. Only thing I can pick out is a few bugs on the dinner tables but that's alright

Not bad value for money. We have stayed here a few times as it is a handy location for visiting friends who live nearby but with no space for visitors. Staff are friendly and room was clean, we have never really had any bad experiences with Mercure Motels. We did get a bit road noise from the highway but it wasn't too bad.

Motel was booked by my work. WiFi reception was one bar and was incredibly slow in my room. Had to have laptop on floor to check email. Found dried blood on my pillow case and sheet. Phoned reception to have sheets changed. Room service changed sheets but removed and did not replace quilt cover and put only one sheet on . Therefore I had to deal with a scratchy uncovered quilt. Cigarette butt on verandah.

Nice hotel, very clean and modern room. The bed was large and comfy, and the front desk lent us an HDMI cable to connect our laptop to the TV! No complaints.

We purchased a Groupon voucher for a family celebration. The best value for money. Food excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Plus great city views.

Arriving at the hotel I was met with warm smiles and a friendly hello. The rooms are a little dated in some respects but I arrived in the middle of an upgrade and things are looking great in the refurbished sections. Breakfast was fantastic and kept me going all day.

Clean, neat and tidy well priced, well presented. Friendly service. Free WiFi. Great value.

Overall our stay has been good. Only small details that's making it less enjoyable. There definitely needs to be a microwave the room. Prices on the menu are a bit expensive although the food is good.

We had 4 rooms booked as we were attending a wedding. Rooms very clean and very spacious. Heaps of parking. Location was great and close to everything. Staff were very friendly and happy, they were also very helpful. We had the buffet breakfast and it was good value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there again.

Very clean, functional hotel with great staff. Always welcoming and friendly. Comfy beds, good showers. Some extra Foxtel channels would be nice but that's a minor point. Food at dinner and breakfast whether in the restaurant or room service is excellent and good value for money. Not a luxury hotel, but it's not supposed to be. A very good, solid offering where I know what to expect with every stay. No complaints at all.

Clean, but rather dated rooms. Small bar, with limited choices. Comfortable beds, but Aircon struggles with even a moderately warm day.

The hotel from the outside looks a bit outdated I think it needs ipaint refresh. There is plenty of parking which is nice the buffet breakfast is small but has the staples of what most buffet breakfast would have. Our room was large and spacious the bed was firm but comfortable. Our room was clean but the TV had some problems and was jittery in reception the air conditioning was very good for the room size and kept us very comfortable in a 42 degree day. The hotel is very close to Charlestown shopping centre and close to Beaches. I would say this hotel is rated 3.5 stars. If you don't expect too much then you will enjoy your stay.
