Nice place and scenery, food is ok, but beds are too small

Amazing place. Very relaxing, staff are absolutely wonderful.

The resort is ideally located on Lake Macquarie, the grounds are well maintained but that is as far as it goes. The management is certainly below par. The accommodation we stayed in for 5 days had annoying squeaky floors, front door lock failures, [not once but many times we had to get the cards re programmed and it was not due to us having the cards near a mobile phone as was suggested], unable to speak with reception when phoned from the room, always went to a recording and no response forthcoming. There was no TV reception the whole 5 days and no suggestion by management to compensate or say sorry for a service that should have been repaired immediately. Very poor, I would not recommend this resort until there is a change in management. John

Attended a wedding on the beach side with a lovely reception here. Food was good and the decorations were nice.

Had a great meal at Al Lago. Its very casual but the food and service was great

Good amenities. Nice sized and clean rooms. Some amenities were less clean. Good overall.

Houses are spacious and modern. Basic things such as towels, coffee and tea, and washing soap provided. Would recommend.

Nice resort with tidy houses for the family. Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer. A few broken items and dusty areas for a full 5 stars but all in all a fantastic resort. We were in the area with children and looking at property and this place met all our needs and more.

We had a 2 bedroom unit $300 a night. The unit was really dirty, there was scum all through the shower floor, cob webs everywhere, mould on the a.c. vents and dead cockroaches and bugs on the floor. The lounge was ripped and filthy and we even had unwashed dishes on the sink. The ballastrade on the staircase was held on by a few screws at the base and had bad wobbles, very dangerous. Worst of all there was a no hot water. 1 person had a quick shower and the other 3 of us left to have ice cold showers. After speaking with the front counter reservations manager he gave me keys to another room to have a shower thankfully. However when I told him how disgusting the room was he proceeded to tell me that we actually booked the cheapest room in the resort to which I replied people around us paid the same and they have much nicer newer rooms and he then replied well that room is actually the worst we have, you get what you pay for! I still can't believe he said that. I wouldn't stay there again and I certainly wouldn't ever recommend staying there. The photos online do not represent where we stayed or the high amount of money we paid for this filth. I will ensure every person I know and every website I can find gets a true review on your establishment.

Staff are friendly. 3rd time here for work conference. Great amenities!

Great staff rioms are good caters for large groups there are over 60 people for a work event over 4 days this is the 4th year in s row we have used this venue never disappoints

Had dinner there great food while stay in lake macquarie very friendly staff highly recommend. We had window view looking out over the ocean and watched the sun set beautiful. Raimon we will b back.

A well kept and peaceful resort. A great place to get away for a weekend. Plenty tennis courts and pools all around the resort and a decent restaurant on site.
