I've always loved Merewether beach :) It's close to home and the new restaurants and cafes are wonderful to visit :)

Coming from Sydney this Newcastle beach confirms that Australia has a lot of fantastic beaches and you can find a lot of them outside Sydney. The people are relaxed and enjoying themselves and the place has a great feel about it.

One of the best beaches in Newcastle, a great Australian beach. I would go as far as to say one of the best beaches you will find around the world! Good surf, nice sand, great seating and places to get food and drinks. Lifeguards are awesome people who know what they are doing. Recreational area close by for families and great walking paths all around the area. You won't find much better out there 😉
