Merran Wallis Eventing

Merran Wallis is an EA Level 2 Eventing Specialist Coach with over 30yrs experience up to 4star level. She evented in the UK for 9yrs with many wins along the way, the highlight being 2nd at Burghley Horse Trials CCI**** 2000 on her own Gershwin.

Merran Wallis Eventing is a boutique Equestrian business operating in the Monaro region of Southern NSW close to the town of Cooma. With over 30 years experience in all aspects of horsemanship, Merran is now offering a range of services. These services include schooling and producing Event horses for sale as well as riding lessons for all levels.

Merran spent 9 years competing internationally in the UK with the highlight being 2nd at the Burghley International Horse Trials in 2000 riding her own horse Gershwin. Following a break from riding, she has now returned to the Australian Eventing scene with a competitive team of horses at all levels.

Having worked in the animal health industry for the last 8 years, Merran also has an extensive knowledge of equine health as well as competition management, and has recently renewed her Level 1 EA Coaching Certificate. Living and operating on a working sheep and cattle farm, Merran is often out mustering on her competition horses or busy preparing for an upcoming event.

Having built a strong support team around her and recently leaving full-time employment, Merran Wallis Equestrian strives to provide both a friendly and quality service in all aspects of horse management.
