The masjid has a central place in our Deen Islaam

At the time of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and during Khulafa-e-Rashideen (خلفائے راشدین):

■There was no school to teach and train the children and youth.
■There were no schools to learn Qur’an or to become Islamic scholars
■There were no separate places for Dawah
■There were no courts of justice
BECAUSE ALL THAT WAS HAPPENING ONLY AT ONE PLACE! ! !

MASJID-E-NABVI
Therefore, if we want to bring this DEEN back to life, we have to bring back the life of Masjid-e-Nabvi, Where people were there 24 hours:

■Doing عبادت (worship) and ذ کر (remembrance of Allah ) ,
■Doing discussions (muzakras) of deen,
■Learning and teaching Quran and hadith,
■Where the youth was being trained for future,
■Where plans and fikr for dawah was happening,
UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF:

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) and then Khulfa-e-Rashideen (RA)

To Bring Masjid-e-Nabwi back to life, we need masaajid here in every locality, to have a markaz to protect our eeman from evil (baatil) and corruption (fitnah) all around, a markaz to teach ourselves and our children and youth, a markaz to be united under.

THEREFORE,

A MASJID IN MERRYLANDS IS REQUIRED TO SERVE:

■More than 500 Muslims families living in Merrylands
■Muslims in Greystane
■Muslims in Wentworthville
■Muslims in Westmead

CURRENT ACTIVITIES:
Running the same model in Merrylands Musallah for last one year where:

1. Five time salat is happening
2. Quran tajweed classes for adults (to learn how to read Quran)
3. Quran Hifz sessions (memorisation of Quran)
4. Quran translation and explanation sessions
5. Gathering for hadith on daily basis
6. Arabic language classes to understand Quran
7. Children tajweed and seerah classes
8. Planning and fikr for establishment of deen in the locality

AMF has started fund raising for the build of a Masjid in Merrylands area. The Merrylands Musalla was established in December 2012 in a Rental Property. The current place for musalla is for sale! ! Therefore, as an immediate need, AMF is buying a property to keep running the Merrylands Musalla while the build of Merrylands Masjid is completed. To achieve this goal, at least AU$500, 000 is required by the mid of August 2014 to make around AU$900, 000 in total (this is as per the current market value of the suitable places for Musalla).
