Mi Cantina

A bit less than average for food. Not even close to the Tapas I've had. I don't think they use fresh seafood.

Weekend at the entrance with friends. Had dinner here and it was beautiful. Friendly staff.

the positive 5 star reviews are surely staff, owners or friends. this is not worthy of 5 stars. 3 maybe. they get 2 from me on this visit. the food is ok. but it’s overpriced and the portions for the tapas are laughable. you will be stunned when you order tacos and get two tiny tacos for 16$. how dare they! next - no chorizo. spanish tapas restaurant - no chorizo. pull your socks up guys. it’s chorizo. and the sneaky move to NOT tell me until AFTER my order was placed - good move guys because i would have left immediately had you been honest and told me. next - sangria. this is NOT sangria and for 28$ a jug these guys are having a laugh. it’s very watered down i don’t know how they can get away with it. i asked the waitress who brought it to my table “how do you make your sangria?” out of interest. her reply “i don’t know.” i know. it’s water . a cup of wine and fruit. and last of all.

look. i can only assume this is a tourist trap and locals don’t visit here regularly because the staff are clueless, the chef unprepared and even when i went to pay the bill, everyone was just standing around chatting - not attentive at all. avoid it because i’ve read about two mexican restaurants nearby that seem to care about their paying customers. i’ll try them next.

jug of sangria, small pot of potato’s and two tiny tacos. yep. 54$. listen to the negative reviews and avoid this place because you will be disappointed. you have been warned.

Enjoyed dinner with several friends, we went for a plate or two of Tapas each and 2 plates of Paella for the table. Unbelievably good! It's Tapas so the portion sizes are representative of that and the Paella is full of protein & flavour and will make sure you leave happy & content!

Excellent service and food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The food was incredibly tasty & generous portions for tapas.

Had 3 tapas. Wasn't bad, wasn't great. Wouldn't be dying to go back here or anything.

My husband and I went last night. We had a good look around before deciding on Mi Cantina and we definitely made the right decision. The food was fantastic. Great atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

OVER PRICED FOOD, APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE
DO NOT EAT HERE!! PLEASE READ AND RETHINK YOUR CHOICE OF WHERE TO EAT!!
Where to even start. For someone who has worked in hospitality my whole career, I have never experienced services as Disgusting then at this restaurant.
We were there for my sisters birthday dinner, a time that should be enjoyable for everyone except we all walked out in absolute disgust with the customer service or lack of that we received.
First of all we ordered over $800 worth of food, and about 2 out of the 15-20 dishes actually ended up with the right person. My partner and I ordered a $70 dish to share, but our friends received our dish due to lack of experience from the waiters. The waiter then approached my partner and stated that there had been a mix up and someone else on our table had received our dish and they could make us another one but we would have to pay another $70 or we could just have their $40 dish but still have to pay $70. We told them we would take the smaller dish but would not be paying for a $70 dish we never received.
Our dish finically reached our table 20+ minutes later and after being told it was ours and starting to eat then got told by the waiter that it actually wasn't ours it was my aunties dish and our hadn't even been made yet.
Secondly we ordered a bottle of wine, which took over 45 minutes to reach the table, after approaching the staff several times to ask where it was. We had to stand at the bar and wait for them to actually get our wine.
Thirdly we had the OWNER of the store then approach our table and insist that we were to pay for the $70 dish even though we still hadn't recieved our $70 dish nor the $40 dish we were meant to get but instead my aunties dish. We literally had the owner of the store yelling and screaming at us as we refused to pay for a dish we didn't receive.
I have never experience such disgusting unprofessional service in my life nor had anyone at our table. We had the whole restaurant starting at us as he literally abused us in front of everyone.
My mother then when to pay the bill where the owner would not take the $70 dish off and tried to charge her $850 for $750 worth of food which we actually received. Conveniently the receipt machine would not work and he could only show us half of the bill and told my mother "just give me $800 and we will call it a deal"
This place is an absolute joke, I would advise anyone to not ever step foot in the door let alone eat or drink in the joke of a restaurant.
