Micalong Creek Reserve

Excellent campground. Large range of sites, good facilities for the location. Closer to nature than other sites in Wee Jasper. Even has hot water showers and kitchen sinks!
Bring the kid's bikes, the family dog, hiking boots and the fishing gear.

Been in the ACT for 20 odd years and never knew of this place!!!! It is awe inspiring, magical, relaxing even with children and dogs around the space enabled a great retreat for all. Facilities maintained beautifully, just adding to the great time. A big thanks to the caretaker who keeps it that way. Also adventurous bush walks.. AMAZING (A big thank you Cuz, for taking me.) P.S. I love children and dogs, I just want to emphasise the space!!!

Great place to relax and unwind.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Stumbled across it completely by accident, and will certainly be back again. We went over the Easter long weekend, so it was pretty busy, but we still felt as if we could maintain our own space and privacy.
The nearby walking tracks boasted some of the most idyllic scenes I have ever experienced and amenities were convenient and clean.
Would definitely recommend!

Quiet in the off season. A bit crowded at peak times. Cheap and cheerful. Campfires allowed when no fire bans. Micalong Creek has its own population of small Rainbow & Brown Trout which are fun to try and out smart. Ranger is extremely helpful and friendly and will point you in the right direction what ever you need. Well maintained grounds and now boast hot showers with potable water at amenities block, as well as a couple of electric bbqs for the day tripper. Well worth a visit.

I have been camping at Wee Jasper Micalong creek since the 80's. New management now have hot water showers, filtered drinking water, electric BBQ'S. $11 per adult. Make sure you donate as goes towards updates.
