Get ready to experience a subtropical adventure with all the comforts you could need in a deluxe eco-tent. Situated on Mangrove Creek this is riverside camping at its very best! Based on the Clarence River in Northern NSW the region is ranked in the top five visitor experiences for the state. It is an iconic, unspoiled nature based destination offering a unique and diverse landscape and an unforgettably authentic Northern NSW subtropical experience.
Environmentally friendly luxury camping with a focus on relaxation and adventure in equal measures.
Three fully furnished tents with individual patios, open fire, camp kitchen, unique eco toilets and shower block, boat ramp and hammocks in the trees. Canadian canoes and kayaks included for self guided tours or see Mick for a guided tour.
Things To Do:
• Skurfing (all equipment available for hire on request): a great way to cool off on a hot summers day
• Rent a tent or bring your own: Three fully furnished tents with individual patios are available for hire, or bring your own tent and set it up at the camp site
• Explore the 7Km of Mangrove Creek on the canoes and kayaks provided
• Ask Mick to take you on a guided tour to the waterfall
• Explore the State Forest of NSW
• Fishing: No finishing licenses required for people staying at Michael's Clarence Valley Retreat.
• Go four wheel driving and explore the state forest

We often get asked if we let guests bring their pets to the retreat.
We really do love dogs and meeting everyone furry companions. However, we also respect the wildlife around the retreat.
We know that everyone's pets are different, however in the past we have had some issues with pets and local wildlife.
... As such we have a blanket ban on all pets at the retreat. We apologise if this causes any inconveniences for you, however it's the only way we can fairly protect the beautiful animals that like to pay our campers a visit.
