Michael'S Italian Family Restaurant

Very disappointing experience at Michaels Italian tonight. To start the whole restaurant was very hot, no fans or air conditioning on, we were sweating just waiting for our meals. I ordered the bolognese with spaghetti, and had been eagerly waiting for it. First mouthful and I was shocked. Tasted like a curry with pasta. For an Italian restaurant I am shocked that you are unable to present a famous spaghetti bolognese. It honestly tasted like hot curry powder mixed with mince. When I asked the waitress what they put in it, who asked the chef, he said he only uses fresh ingredients, but for someone who loves this meal, no fresh ingredients could be tasted other than the curry powder, as it was so over powering for the whole dish. I do not recommend this dish. Great service by the waitresses though. Not sure if I will be returning.

Great modern style pizza (lots of toppings with medium base/crust). Amazing gnocchi with Nona's sauce. The rest of the pastas are not my favorite but are not bad. Service is good, generally well staffed, restaurant is a little crowded so I prefer takeaway. It does get busy towards the weekend so make sure to book a table!

It has beautiful food, friendly staff and has an amazing atmosphere. I would advise making a booking before turning up or you may not be able to secure a table!!! AMAZING cheese and garlic pizza!

My wife and i ate there tonight, the food was amazing, and the portions were great! Price was spot on and we left full ans very satisfied! Recommend to anyone!

Nona's Ravioli is the best closely followed by the marinara! Awesome food and a must go!

Food excellent a tad noisy but a great atmosphere wit great company

Food was good and tasty with big meals. Normally would rate a 5 but the cleanliness needs a little attention. Dirty marks on plates and cups which we've never experienced here before.
