I was tired.
I'd been to the Dr.
Did my shopping, had to wait 15mins at least for a cab home.
So I thought... COFFEE!!!
I Knew I needed some & Strong.
I asked for a take away, strongest they could make coffee..
Oh Dear..
I went home, bcse my machines broken, I had a boring instant coffee.. God forbid!
& I Tell You.. It was BETTER than the Michel's Patisserie coffee.
Stronger, gave me what I needed.
Ah Michel's, Michel's...
I don't know what to say, but BAD COFFEE experience day today..
Def NOT going there again.

Lovely friendly staff, great coffee, yummy gluten free sandwiches, outdoors eating if you want, comfortable seating inside. Great range of yummy cakes and pies and sausage rolls but not much healthy stuff! But it IS a Patisserie!! It's YOUR CHOICE to eat stuff from a place that is not designed to be healthy but SURE DOES TASTE GREAT!!

The service and coffee are always good at Michel's Albion Park

Absolutely love it here! Friendly customer service, the food is always great, the desert is delicious and the coffee is fantastic! By far the best Michel's Patisserie around.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean and well presented, new premises with plenty of seating. Menu has so much more than just coffee and cakes, had brunch here, food was excellent, well presented, and great value for money. Loved their salad so much, changed the way I make salad to copy theirs.

Saw some pies sitting in the display oven over Labor Day. That's definitely a violation. It seemed pretty obvious they were going to heat and sell them when the cafe opened again the next day.

Staff are friendly and efficient with great, fast service. Consistently delicious coffee too!

Since the change in owner management, the coffee and food quality took a turn for the worst. Coffee undrinkable and quiche/ pastries from the warmer totally dried out and crusty. Not worth your money or trouble. Go elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience at this Michel's and will never return. I always had suspicions the manager/owner was an awful man but my suspicions were confirmed after being yelled at by this vile person. The staff have always appeared miserable and I don't blame them. Please everyone that has an issue with this indiviual, contact Michel's head office. I did and had a much more pleasant exchange. I don't know how he is still in business.

I cannot even stand to look at this place the more I read the reviews in the past I didn't want to believe how horrible this place is! I applied to work was accepted and as soon as I started working I saw how unhygienic the food and dishes were! The smell of the dishes smelled like fish was ABSOULETY revolting! I was treated very poorly! the tables were disgusting and food was way over priced for a sloppy work the cloth used to dry dishes are covered in old food and smells. He under pays employees pays 10 an hour for 17 year olds! Which is under the ward rate of what you are suppose to be paid. He treats customers awfully I remember hearing him swear his head off at a customer on the phone. He is cheap and Lazy sits on his ass on his phone while having the younger girls work hard and being under paid. I honestly believe someone should ask for a health inspector for this place because it's beyond disgusting. Another customer was exhausted and I could tell how tired she was she had made a mistake for her order and was willing to pay for another he brushed her off and as soon as she had her back turned he told one of the workers she's trying to have a free drink when obviously that wasn't the case! I will repeat please anyone that wants to apply or eat do not!! So many customers complained about the sandwhich an avocado sandwhich and when the customer showed me that her sandwhich had no avocado I honestly felt so sorry for her for having her waste her money on a tiny tiny slice of avocado on her sandwich please no one order and eat there honestly disgusting dishes I remember telling my friends not to order food because I was worried for their health I'm not one to keep quite I will tell people of the filth and horrible treatment this man does! Do not apply he loves to under pay and treat you horrible so you can leave and he can hire more young females to be under paid with this is cheap labour he must be reported!

HORRIBLE I wish I could give 0 stars had the most watered down ice tea for $6 after there only being one size option would have been cheaper to go to Coles or Woolworths and buy it there. Was visiting my friend who works there boss is rude to both customers and employees, under pays new people as they are still 'training' so doesn't want to pay them for hours of work and when they ask to go bathroom sends them home and doesn't let them even have a drink when running around working while he either sits on his ass on phone or is at the back most likely spitting in people's food. I've been here once with never go there again.

What i got was a cold cup of chocolate froth with a pattern of chocolate sauce on top..This is the second time i have had this experience..It won't happen for a third...

I got a surprise cake, for birthday. compare to the cheesecake shop has much higher price( $40 for medium size cake) but just too simple! Just two big sponge with no taste and small coating of cream and a thin jam which doesn't work really! Not enjoyed really! 😔

I am a regular customer at the cafe and since the new management has taken over my experience is always a pleasant one. The staff are both friendly and helpful. Even in the mornings when it gets busy with coffee orders, the girls are polite and wish everyone a lovely day. I have a difficult coffee order and they haven't failed in getting it wrong... I will continue to buy my morning coffee only from here!!! :)

What's the point in going to a cafe for a sit down coffee and having it served in a paper takeaway (with lid!) Because the only other customer in the joint is using "all" the large mugs. (I can only see him using one..). And because you get a paper cup (with lid).. no spoon. Won't be back. Oh and the cake I ordered before I sat down to drink my takeaway coffee was sitting out on the bench. Apparently room temperature is the correct temp for the cake to be stored. It's a cookies and CREAM cake. I always store cream at room temp, don't you?

The franchisee is one of the rudest women I've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. I used to be a loyal customer until she insinuated that I had tampered with my loyalty card to get a free coffee. One free coffee! Honestly! So I ordered my very last Michel's coffee ever and took my business elsewhere. Rude thing! 😠

We purchased a small rectangular forrest cake for $24 at the Cessnock store.
We have purchased one before, a while ago now, but the one we had a couple of years ago was so very nice.
Yesterday we bought another. The tall asian guy who served us, had trouble folding a cake box, and seemed to be inattentive.
We were very disappointed with the cake. It was extremely dry, just tasted like dry stale chocolate cake with hard cream. Needless to say it wasn't eaten. It wasn't nice at all.
We rang the Cessnock store and the guy said, we have another one here, i am sorry you feel that way and hung up .
Won't ve coming back :(

Visited the cafe today with my little one, the staff were lovely , helpful. The coffee was great. However i was looking for the gluten free selection of cakes and was pointed out to a selection of only 2-3 rather sad and unappetizing looking cakes. Would have thought they would have a better range considering the number of people these days who are unable to eat products containing gluten. This was a little disappointing as was looking foward to having a nice little morning tea with my little girl, considering it is a very rare thing we do.

I tried to order a vanilla sponge cake and requested no almonds on the sides the staff said it wasn't possible I explained that one of the children had allergies
The staff member then said all stock of cakes was unavailable which I find completely unbelievable
I then tried to order a chocolate cake and was told that there were none on stock untill next week!!

Ordered a Celebration Cake from Michel's - Large Rainbow Sparkles Vanilla on the bottom with a Medium Rainbow Surprise Chocolate on the top tier. I couldn't cut it quick enough - the kids were pulling the chocolate plaques off. Some of the adults assumed it was from a well known local patisserie...

I wasn't eating at Michele's but I did get a table there today with my grandchildren I got some sushi and I was going to then buy a coffee however my grandchildren decided they wanted some sushi as well, I went to get some more when I got back, the staff had thrown my food in the bin . The people next to me told me this and I confronted the young girl and she denied it then proceeded to tell me l couldnt eat at there table then later on as I was walking past there staff looked over at me and they were all laughing I'll never go there again

The coffee I had here was considerably poorer quality than those I've had at other Michel's stores. The tables and chairs needed cleaning and maintenance and the mugs were scratched with all the wording coming off. In need of a bit of TLC!

I wish I can give a negative star! The food is sucks! I ordered a ham and cheese wrap! The staff look at the photo and ask the kitchen staff say do you know how to make this? The kitchen staff answered: sure I can make something similar! So when the food come out, it look like nothing similar and the food combinations are disgusting, and not edible! I will never ever go back to there!

Having been fairly regular here, i can say the staff are young and helpful and the place quiet enough to get a table, although i imagine with the concrete floor and hard surfaces, it would get noisy if it filled up. still, a great place tucked in between the other shops in camden and a pleasure to dine at.

A bit ordinary. I like my coffee HOT! Which they can't seem to achieve. Asked for a Bacon & Egg roll from the menu one morning. They didn't have any. Huh??

Rude and useless. First they wouldn’t give me the price of a freak’n birthday cake over the phone. Then when I went into the shop expecting to place an order, I walked out instead because they were just too useless. I got attitude for asking questions. Regarding questions about a picture on a cake, she said if she asked the people who make the cakes to do that they’ll tell me “don’t tell us how to do our job”. Pathetic. Go somewhere else.

Lovely atmosphere however after basking in the ambience for an hour, I was asked to leave which frankly, was extremely rude as there were minimal customers and I had paid more for coffee due to eftpos minimum.

Brough a cake for my daughters birthday a couple of weeks ago and was beautiful! I rung and ordered lady was lovely and got what I had asked for so no complaints and intent to order again for my eldest daughter this week!

Customer service was the worst i have ever experienced in many years....loud, totally inconsiderate, and extremely rude to customers. Six other customers got up and left the store shaking their heads in disbelief. Would never go back.

Overpriced, tiny servings and most of the food tastes cheap. Coffee is passable

Absolutely terrible service and way overpriced. We ordered a snitzel burger and a pulled pork burger, almost $40 and half an hour later we were served with two McDonald Cheeseburger sized birgers. The waitress slammed them on the table without even acknowledging us. The "snitzel" consisted of two very small crumb chicken pieces that resembled fish fingers. Both meals came with a side of cold, soggy and rubbery sweet potato, some of which were not completely cooked. We ate it as we were hungry, had already paid and had waited way too long already. The fact that you dont even have the prices on the menu is a scam to suck people into paying rediculous prices for sub-standard food. Super angry and will be sharing this with everyone I know. Never again.

While waiting for lunch I noticed the barista sneeze into her hand and go right on making coffee. The shop had a grimy feel with plenty of flies. I will walk on next time.

Purchased a "fresh" cake for my younger brothers birthday party on Sunday the 23rd of July and the saddest part was that the cake was horrendously dry. If not for the icing and cream on the outside, the cake could've been used as a brick. My mother asked for a cake that was fresh and made it clear she wanted a cake that was soft on the inside as it was for children. The cake wasn't even in the fridge for an hour after it was purchased and even when it was being cut it was very clear that it was dry and old. Disappointed and upset as I've been a customer for a very long time. Last time.

Probably the best coffee in Dapto ATM. Good staff but you get kicked out 20-30mins before closing which annoys a lot of people. Need to get there 1hr before closing if you like a late afternoon drink and want to sit down!

Jason and his team make the best coffees and often spend time to have a chat to you. Very friendly

Despite buying coffees, we were kicked out for being there too long without buying more, even though the place was practically empty. Assuming it was the manager/owner who approached us. The most rude and disgusting service I have ever received. I feel sorry for the other girl working there, but I will NOT be back.
