Minchinbury No Gap Dental

As a person who has feared dentists most his life, I had to bite the bullet and visit a dentist, so I started researching pain free dentist on google and found Minchunbury No Gap Dental (MNGD). From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by reception with a great smile and personality. I was made to feel very very welcomed and comfortable while deep down I was fearing everything. My Dentist Dr Ravin Patel also made me feel so so comfortable that I slowly lost all anxiety and let him do his thing, I was so impressed with the whole team I dealt with including Reception, The Nurse and or course Dr Patel. But it wasn’t only that, it was the facility itself with modern machinery and tools to make the whole experience as easy and as painless as possible. I would not hesitate sending my family and friends to MNGD and whilst no body yearns for their next dentist appointment, when the time comes for me I will not have any hesitation to simply book as soon as the pain starts or I need one instead of trying to deal with the pain for days on my own like I usually do. This dentist has all the services one would need done by experienced operators with a patient first attitude.

In addition to the above review, I went into the Dentists to have 3 teeth removed and wanted to add my perspective on an actual procedure rather then check up.

There are three things I’d like to point out as something that MNGD can consider if they want to improve their business and customer satisfaction rating.

1) My extractions where done under Sedation which was my choice, yet the cost of the extraction including sedation was more then the registration and insurance on my car. Thankfully HCF did give a little rebate, so the whole procedure was the same price as registering my car.
2) I had to make myself available when the anaesthetist was available, not the other way around where he makes himself available when I’m free, so I was forced to move heaven and earth to find someone on a week day to pick me up after the procedure. I’ve never been in this situation where the anaesthetist books you in a day or two prior to procedure and your left to sort out how to get home under medication.
3) I feel businesses should reward every staff member for the duties they perform, yet I feel that Reception staff (which are a cost center) don’t get the recognition they deserve yet they are the first people you see when you enter the practice and are the backbone of the organisation. The dentists are a (profit center) billable portion of the business yet they can not perform their duties without the help of Reception yet reception don’t get the recognition they deserve.

I had three teeth removed under sedation and I have to give credit where credit is due, the anaesthetist did a fantastic job was so gentle and deserved to be noted as a great asset, as was my dentist Dr Patel. The whole procedure was effortless on my part and once home there a little bleeding but absolutely no pain what so ever, which I feel is amazing considering I had three molars removed at the same time. I don’t know what Dr Patel did but his gentle nature left me amazed and pain free. From the moment I woke up till today 3 days later I feel absolutely no pain and plenty of relief.

This place is a crappy fake dentist that rips people off. Jerks

They will RIP you OFF in an unethical way. They are in the business just to RIPOFF and make money. They do not deserve any star. Avoid this place like the plague. They charged me $460 in 20 minutes for nothing... RIPOFF

Whole family has been attending for years. Recently my husband needed some emergency attention and Dr. Mercieca was as incredible as ever. Kind, compassionate, knowledgable, lovely staff. Highly recommended!

Today I cleaned my teeth, all the staffs are very friendly and Tara was really good, very careful and gentle and explained what she was doing throughout the procedure. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Words can't really define of how good of a service I received with getting dental work done at Minchinbury Dental Care. You pay for quality and you shall receive it, the dentist are professional and friendly. The quality of work is a five start rating and has many options to accommodate your dental needs.
