About Mind The Gap Nvc

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is the power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom. ”

Mind The Gap Nvc Description

Alex Norman created Mind the Gap in 2013 when she began teaching and coaching others in Nonviolent Communication ( NVC) . She recently attained her trainer certification and now humbly accepts the honour and responsibility of being an accredited International Trainer with the Centre for NVC in the U. S. ( CNVC.org. )

NVC has been practised around the world for decades and it really works! Through its emphasis on deep listening—to ourselves as well as others—NVC fosters respect, attentiveness and empathy, and engenders a mutual desire to give from the heart. It looks at how the language of our culture and our habitual thoughts impact the efficacy of our communication and helps refocus and reframe by using some simple tools to create long lasting transformation in relationships.

NVC has been described as both a set of concrete communication skills and also as a spiritual practise, which ultimately helps us to see our common humanity and discover increasingly enjoyable ways to contribute to, and have gratitude for, life.

So 'Mind the gap'! folks and come aboard the fast train to a Compassionate life.

‘Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom’.
