Mindability Psychology And Behaviour Support

MindAbility Psychology and Behaviour Support provides services in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast areas.

At MindAbility we provide a supportive and professional service to children, adolescents and adults in times of need. Services include;

- Diagnostic and Assessment (e. g. ADHD, Autism and Learning difficulties, eligibility for funding supports).

- Counselling support to children, adolescents and parents (including Play Therapy, CBT and other evidence-based psychotherapies).

- Behaviour Intervention and Support for behaviour problems and supports to individuals with intellectual disability.

- Parent Management Training including Triple P internationally recognised and endorsed programs including Stepping Stones a program specifically for parents of children with intellectual disability.

- Organisational Training and Team Development.

- Training and Support such as social skills development, protective behaviours and coping skills to young people, individuals with disabilities and others with various support needs.

Home visiting and on-site consultation optional. We are are bulk-billing, as well as fee-for-servcie provider and certain services may be eligible for private health fund rebates.
