Mindfulness Matters: Chris and Glenda Irwin are facilitators of mindfulness workshops. Mindfulness practice is a repeated process of returning our attention to the current moment. As simple as this sounds it takes learning to focus and prompts to remind ourselves to become 'present. ' The approach in this work is to make the 'simple' less complex! This is because we are wired towards distraction. What we know from our jointly more than 40 years of practice is that the benefits of presence are immediate and profoundly affirming. Mindfulness Matters is the outcome of our striving for community in this way of Being. Come along to our workshops and find out for yourself. Mindfulness is experiential not intellectual.
