Minnamurra Rainforest Centre

The ranger ( blond didn't get her name) 23/8/17

Was aragant to say the least walked out to the left hand side of my 4 WD past my handy capped sticker / tag.

She just stood there, I was on my own I had to reach and unlock the door , it doesn't have central locking or power windows so not good for my back which l am having operated on 31/8/17.
Eventually she would open the door and said the walk to the waterfall was closed not freindly or helpfull at all.

Very disappointed as the visitor centre at Kiama said it was a board walk and I would be able to manage it no probs. He was very helpful I might add.

To the ranger get another job.

Sign at the main road turn off said entrance fee applies. We drive down the road to the entrance where they asked for a $12 entrance fee with part of the small board walk is closed for maintenance and would be unable to see the waterfall.
Told them not paying $12 to do half a walk with no waterfall and asked to use the bathroom and was refused without paying entrance fee.

$12 is unreasonable at the best of times.
$12 is extortion with the main lookout closed.
Unfriendly rip off artists.

It's a good trail and well maintained. The path leading to the waterfall can be very steep and challenging for unfit people. Half of the walk is under construction and in my opinion charging people 12 dollars for parking for half a walk is too much. I finished the entire walk in an hour. You can't really see much of the waterfall.

If you want an alternative there is cascade fall not far from the place. It's for free and you get to be really close to the fall itself.

Great elevated walkway through the majority of the rainforest. Bit of a hike to get to the falls but totally worth it.

Fantastic trail. Well made path keeps it easy for all ages even with the climb. We came after rain and it was spectacular! Great morning out and finished with picnic by the Cafe.

What a great place to visit. The bush walk wa s easy butbthe scenery was beautiful. Great photos oppertumities.

Had expected to walk wild in the RAINFOREST, but is more like walk in some park. Nice walkway for families with children and/or elderly. One of the waterfall viewpoints was closed and there was not much to water to see when we visited in summer.
