Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (or MSC) - have a mission to manifest in our world the unconditional love God has for them and for us all.

WELCOME TO MSC AUSTRALIA The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (originally Missionnaires du Sacre Coeur in French. The initials M. S. C. come from the Latin: Missionarii Sacratissimi Cordis), were founded by Fr. Jules Chevalier at Issoudun, France in 1854. We are an international religious order of men within the Catholic Church. We dedicate our lives to making known and loved the unconditional Love of God, manifested in Jesus Christ, who gave himself up for us, so that we might come to know God's love for us. The Sacred Heart of Jesus shows to us this Divine Love in a human heart, and draws us to want likewise to give our human lives out of love. The Australian Province has around 190 members and our ministries include: parishes, retreat centres, education, working with urban and traditional aborigines, working in the Media, chaplains to the prisons, universities, hospitals, health care, ministry to people living with HIV + /AIDS, tradesmen, and in many other areas.
