Mogo Zoo

Mogo Zoo is a great little place, can do a walk through up to a comfortable three hours. Add in the giraffe feeding for $10, watching the cheetah have some food, feed the Bambi's by hand...they boast over 200 animals, however, not on our visit.

But the visit must include a meerkat experience. That is by far one of the best things I have ever done. They are amazing little creatures and even though they are in captivity, they have not lost any of their natural behaviours and are just beautiful. That experience alone is five star! Must do!

It was an awesome experience. The kids had the opportunity to feed the giraffes an experience they will never forget. The food at the Cafe was exceptional and delicious. A must do activity for any family within the vicinity

It's a gem of a place down at the NSW South Coast. Always worth a visit to this well set up and run zoo. Their small and large animal collection are very well displayed. They have a continuous improvement policy which is great to see.

What a wonderful family day out. Beautifully kept grounds. I would say one of the best zoo's we have been to.
We were there first thing in the morning and it was an experience to hear the animals all making happy noises.
I was amazed at how well cared for the animals were and how shiny and clean they looked. It was obvious to see that the keepers do a great job.
We will be back.

This is a great little zoo which can be enjoyed by all the family and it doesn't suffer from the congestion and overcrowding that Taronga Zoo in Sydney experiences. The zoo has a good range of animals including Tigers, Cheetahs, Lions and a Snow Leopard. Don't expect a lot from this zoo or compare it to the bigger zoos as you will be disappointed. Feeding he Giraffes is a great experience for the kids but for $10 each for a couple of branches, it seems a little overpriced. I wouldn't make the trip to Bateman's Bay especially to visit this zoo as you may regret travelling all that way but if you are in the area for something else then it is a great add on to the trip.

Only a small zoo. We managed to see everything in anout an hour. Nicely det out. Good variety of animals, especially monkeys. Zoos do make me a bit sad but apparently they are part of a global effort to save endangered species.

Wonderful place. I mean, it's what you'd expect, but nicely polished; friendly staff; no wait on good food and good coffee; extensive displays. And they have a Catbear, didn't know there was such a thing? Well there is, and it's my new favorite animal!

Great value for money, it's set out well and has plenty of things to see and do. We did the meerkat encounter, which was so fun. The staff are happy to take time and chat, they're friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is very well priced with good food. Even in the pouring rain we had so much fun!

Our babies are all grown up and loving life on ther own piece of water front realestate @ Mogo Zoo, THANKYOU to all the keepers that worked so hard on bringing this all together and helping them settle into there Island home -- YAY XXX :) :) :)
