Have you practiced with the dynamic and brilliant Mel yet? ✨Join @melmurray Monday - 6.30pm warm flow & 7.45pm Yin . .... Mel is a qualified Yoga Teacher, Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, with a passion for movement and wellbeing.
Mel discovered Yoga in 2012 after she suffered a hip fracture, which required surgery and long rehabilitation program. Realising she needed to move away from high energy, high impact exercise as a way to manage her osteoporosis, Mel found her way into a Yoga studio. Since then, Mel has not looked back! Mel completed her 200 Hour Yoga training with Power Living in 2015. She has gone on to complete 500 Hour pathway training with Power Living in Advanced Vinyasa and Being of Purpose philosophy. This year Mel will complete Yin Yoga training.
In addition to her Yoga qualifications, Mel has completed Certificate III Group Exercise and Certificate IV Personal Training. She will also complete Pilates Matwork in 2018.
Mel offers a strong yoga practice which challenges students to maintain good alignment and calm breath, as the gateway to tapping into the higher purpose of the asana practice.

... Heather first found yoga about 10 years ago after 'retiring' from Irish dancing and was inspired by the athletic practice and discipline that yoga provided. It soon became clear that yoga provided more than just the physical asana practice. Heather was able to find inner peace and quiet the helper her release tension and provide more clarity both on and off the mat. She felt that she had found her calling and started to seek out all types of yoga including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Forrest & Bikram. Heather completed her 200YTT in the US and has further continued her studies in Australia. Heather invites everyone in her class to learn and grow together, accept our imperfections and practice ahimsa through asana. Rosie is a yoga teacher, green food junkie, weight loss expert and health coach. She comes from a background in Holistic nutrition, holding an advanced diploma is nutritional medicine. However, it was a trip to Bali a number of years back she fell into love with yoga. Rosie has completed 200hrs YTT with Duncan Peak at Power Living. And continued further advanced trainings with Duncan, Mark Breadner, Janet Stone and Yin training with Sarah Powers. Rosie encourages her students to remain curious, explore all lineages and facets of yoga and to deepen and follow the path of self enquiry. Rosie has a special interest in mental health and empowers her students to challenge their limitations and to use the practice to uncover innate joy and possibilities. Rosie's classes are creative and utilise breathing techniques throughout the practice, encouraging students to remain grounded and conscious in the moment.
