Monica's growing bodies of work are held in both private and corporate collections throughout the world. Many of these are commissions, creating unique, resonant art specific to the desires and needs of her clients. These include both highly emotive ‘brand images’ and deeply personal soul messages.
Now living in Sydney, Australia, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Monica skillfully blends the deep spiritually of rich cultures and metaphysical experience.
Complementing an already successful career as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, Monica began to paint professionally in the early 1990’s. Oils and sculpture soon became her mediums of choice — developing detailed channeled sketches, completing the final paintings in Sydney.
Deeply felt connections to the transcendental world; concerns for love, happiness and peace are at the core of Monica artist’s paintings. These enduring works of art resonate within us providing settings where we find respite and rejuvenation.
Stylistically her vivid use of colour, a compelling form of sculpture /painting, combined with strong composition give way to the imagination, leading the viewer to places of tranquility and peace. She states that, “while in solitude, I can transcend the boundaries of the concrete world and access the intangible — the spiritual”.
