We grew. We're still the same Monster Rolls you loved, only now we want to fill the gap with new, wholesome healthy meals. Monster Kitchen is the result of us maturing, listening to customers, learning about health and witnessing the changing food habits globally and all around us. We care. By working closely with local farmers we are now able to provide food that is fresh from the farm, seasonal and basically better for you. For our roll lovers we've upped the taste, for our health lovers we've worked tirelessly to bring you our bowls, the newest member of the Monster family. Monster Rolls, which started as a food truck and can still be found trucking around Sydney's CBD, is launching the much anticipated roll and bowl concept Monsters Kitchen on 27 April 2016 at its Darlinghurst store (corner Crown and Oxford St). Monsters Kitchen offers farm to counter Rolls & Bowls served with local seasonal sides and a choice of proteins and addictive homemade sauces. Zac Midalia, Monsters Kitchen partner, comments "Bowls and customization are the future. People want to be able to choose the flavours they feel like, how heavy their meal is and whether it is gluten free, diary free or even carb free. Bowls offer full customization in the most wholesome way". Monsters Kitchen offers a choice of three predefined bowls called Green, Grain and No Rice, Rice which consist of a base of mixed greens, brown rice or carb-free cauli rice. Bowls are served with seasonal sides (which are seasonal vegetables sourced locally that change every season) and the choice proteins which include 12 hour slow cooked, grass fed wagyu beef, pork and almond crusted chicken with vegetarian options including delicious grilled mushrooms.
