Moonshadow V went for standard maintenance recently and our crew took her to Brisbane for her spa appointment.
... - with clear skies and water they encountered the usual suspects - a few species of dolphins and would you believe -
at about 4.45 am yesterday morning MIGALOO and his 2 escorts met Moonshadow V at the top of Moreton Bay Island.
Crew said he was glowing in the dark.... Unmistakably Migaloo but difficult to catch using phone cameras in the low light 😔
The Port Stephens crew were very envious of the crew travelling on M5 - 😳🤣 but glad our vessels have been blessed by his presence for another year 👏🏻🎉🐋❤️

Fridays cruisers were lucky enough to see a new born calf and Mum travelling with an escort. It’s a good size comparison in the shot with the photo bombing seagull.
🎓 A female Humpback gives birth every 2-3 three years and the pregnancy is 11-12 months. It is believed the calf then spends about one year with its mother.

Night-time cruise which was beautiful as we had dolphin sightings. Also had a chance to lie on the front deck to watch the stars/moon as we had a clear evening.

Saw a couple of dolphins on the moonshadow v but was a bit let down with how over crowded the staff allowed the boom net to become my (special needs) daughter and her aunty were repeatedly trampled on and pushed as they tried to get out of the net with my daughter screaming in fear with no help from anyone my daughter has been left traumatized by the experience and now has a fear of water.

Cruze was good,staff good,price good , we have a good family fun time

Saw whales, dolphins, fur seals and seagulls. Saw a 40 tonne whale breach near the boat twice. Great boat nice and stable.

Went on the 3 hour whale watching cruise and it didn't disappoint. Nice boat, clean before people started to get sick, and friendly staff. Take seasick pills an hour before you go if the sea is choppy!

Great food,saw dolphins swimming alongside the boat at night, go on the night cruise,totally awesome.

Lol. No dolphins. Felt like I went to a casino.

Went on and hour and a half dolphin cruise, $70 for two adults and two kids. We found dolphins nearly as soon as we left the marina, the crew were really nice and the kids had a ball. We've had a dinner cruise with Moonshadow before and that was also great. Highly recommended!
