Happy Easter and long weekend to all! Morris and Sons Sydney will be closed on Good Friday, open 9-4 Easter Saturday, closed Easter Sunday and open from 10-4 on Easter Monday. The Melbourne store will be closed Good Friday, open Easter Saturday 10-5, closed Easter Sunday, and open on Easter Monday from 10-6.⠀

Want to see some awesome tapestries? 'The lady and the unicorn' series is currently on display at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. It is only the third time they have left France in 500 years, so this is a must see!
Often referred to as the ‘Mona Lisa of the Middle Ages’, 'The lady and the unicorn' series will be making its exclusive appearance in Sydney at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Designed in Paris circa 1500 and one of the greatest surviving masterpieces of medieval Euro...pean art, the tapestry series depicts a lady flanked by a lion and a unicorn, surrounded by an enchanting world of animals, trees and flowers. One of the most intriguing aspects of these six large-scale artworks is the mystery of their origin and meaning. For whom were these masterpieces made? What do they symbolise? What stories do they tell?
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the beauty and intricacy of one of the world’s most enigmatic masterpieces in Sydney.

This is a student driven class where you will receive support in any craft questions such as reading a pattern, creating cables, knitting lace, working in the round or whatever is puzzling you. Bring along your current project whether it be knitting, crochet, stitching or sewing and our instructor will be quite happy to help you work through any concerns or queries you might have about your craft.
