Mosman Smiles Dental Surgery

I was lucky enough to stumble across Mosman Smiles after moving to Sydney back in 2007 and I'm so grateful that I did. Having spent my whole life under the care of my local NHS dentist back in the UK I was blissfully unaware of the poor condition of my teeth.

As part of my comprehensive first check up appointment Saar took radiographs and photos which sadly showed that I needed no less than 7 fillings. I was more than a little daunted but Saar carefully explained the treatment required and helped to reassure me. His caring manner, kindness and professionalism quickly helped to put me at ease.

Having experienced many painful dental injections in the past I was amazed to discover that Saar has developed a pain free injection technique. It takes a little longer but incredibly I literally couldn't feel a thing !

Saar is a perfectionist and the aesthetics of my restorations are exceptional. Amazingly, a full decade later, all of the original fillings that Saar undertook for me are still in place and after taking on board Saar's dental advice, and keeping up to date with my professional cleaning appointments, I have required no further dental treatment.

The practice manager, Anita, is so warm, friendly and efficient and has engendered these qualities in all of the staff. It's so nice to walk in and be greeted with a smile and the process of arranging appointments and making payments is always smooth and seamless.

Having had very poor quality dental care in the past I'm now happy to say that I actually look forward to my dental visits. A very big thank you to the whole team !

We could not be happier with Dr. Saar and his wonderful team. They are always there for you when you need them (we've had quite a few emergencies over the years). They talk you through procedures, go through all available options and it's always pain free.

As a healthcare worker, I'm extremely discerning about medical practitioners. When I moved to Sydney, I did extensive research in finding the best dentist in town. Time and again coworkers and families at my children's school kept telling me to see Dr Saar at Mosman Smiles. When my son's paediatrician recommended this practice, I knew I had to take everyone's advice. And boy are they spot on. Dr Saar is meticulous and precise in every aspect of the dental work he does, his techniques are painless, his knowledge is exceptional but his genuine care for his patients (Ive had dental phobia which is actually a thing of the past in Dr Saar's safe hands) is unrivalled. I can confidently say with first hand experience, you won't find a more compassionate and outstanding dentist in Sydney (or Hong Kong, NYC and London). Thank you to this brilliant, lovely and knowledgeable team for everything and I hope to never get another job transfer unless you will move with me.

A brilliant team! Friendly, caring, communicative, supportive and exceedingly professional in every way. And yes, they are gentle and pain free! Mosman Smiles did everything they could to fit me in to their schedule and look after me. They were open and honest about the whole process; they never pushed me into anything that needed to be done; they were honest and upfront about fees. Reading the other reviews I can only add that they are all true ..it is possible to experience caring, expert and pain free, dental treatment that can help even the most fearful to become engaged with a dentist again with wonderful results.

What sets Mosman Smiles apart for me is their understanding of and expertise in helping us to manage our fear. Like others, I regret that it took me so long to find Saar and his team and to trust Anita’s assurances that I was in the right place, but I’m now committed to making sure I never again avoid looking after my teeth and would encourage others to find the courage to make that first appointment. For checks and cleans I have found Saar to be gentle and thorough and since becoming a patient at the practice I have had no need for any further dental work other than cosmetic procedures.

In regard to this, I have had the ZOOM whitening treatment several years ago and I still get comments about how white my teeth are.
