Good swimming centre for kids
Usually the swim centre is very busy and this leads to the changing rooms being overused, it is also very hot in the main pool area.
This centre is run for profit so is not really a public facility. The problem also is that it is too small to cope with the growth in population in the area. Peak periods are awful and, just when you think it's going to be quiet on a Saturday afternoon, you find they've rented the place out for a children's party! It is low-ceilinged and incredibly noisy. I've given up swimming there. Poor planning by successive governments means the best alternative is North Sydney Olympic Pool, which also has its moments... Too much land going to private developers for shoebox apartment blocks instead of new public facilities.
Great for lane swimming (after pm), clean facilities and lovely staff... what more do you want?
there is no respect for Faster or medium swimmer. you cannot even swim sometimes. most of the time is so full and when kids are around they are all over the place! even in the faster line. that's too DANGEROUS!! there should be more respect. water is often dirty and the hairdryer most of the time doesn't work
