I had been here about a year prior when tbe new owners had just taken over. It wss good then and now its great. !We went for a friends Bday celebration.. The staff were attentive & knowledgeable yet relaxed so you didn't feel pressured. Cocktails were fantastic & reasonable $ - happy hour from 5-7. One of the best espresso martinis I've ever had. Food wss great. We had a mezze plate with some additional sides. Polenta fries were cooked perfectly and the accompanying sauce had a rich smokey tomato flavour which sealed the deal. Waitress was lovely knew her menu and offered great little tips of what to choose when we couldnt make a decision. I didn't know a tomato salad coud be so tastey and great accompaniment for a cheese board. Overall great night great service great food. Tick.

I went with my wife to check out Mr Fox as a potential venue for my birthday and have a drink and when I mentioned this to the barman - he dismissed it very arrogantly and said he couldn't believe I wanted to check the place out on a Saturday when they were busy. They're were about 10 people there so made no sense...I also picked up on the fact that he was either drunk or 'on something' too as he was behaving strangely to say the least. Most other places welcomed us with open arms...this place was just run by arrogant bar staff that thought they were too cool for school - when in reality they were quite sad excuses for barmen. A friend of ours had a similar experience when they went for a drink there. If you are thinking of going out in S.Hills avoid this place like the plague as you can do so much better with other choices on your doorstep.

This is long over due! I held a singles night at Mr. Fox in April and it was the perfect venue. We comfortably fitted 30 singles, the mood lighting and furniture and ambience was perfect! Great selection of premium beverages and a beautiful menu. James was the perfect host and knows how to run a bar! Highly recommend Mr. Fox for groups looking for a humming but also chilled venue.

Awsome cocktails served by awesome bar staff! Always feel welcomed when you arrive and if your unsure about what you want the staff can always whip something up! Great food menu available with changing specials!

Alex and James took care us with beautiful cocktails and tailored shots. An eclectic and unpretentious crowd (who we ended up doing shots with) teamed with classic rock tunes and antique furniture made for the perfect hangout after a long day at work.

Great venue. We had a party of 15 in 'Reynard's Room' with our own bar. The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional, the vibe was phenomenal & everyone had a great time.
Defintely one to go back to.

The best bar in Surry Hills if you are like me and enjoy chill atmosphere and well made drinks. Best Old Fashioned's I've had. The people who work there are terrific and the music is on point. The only bar I would go to while visiting Sydney.
