Won’t be spending my money here again

Been 5 times to buy things that didn’t have ingredients my son might be allergic too.

On every occasion I Couldn’t spend more than 5 minutes reading the packets for ingredients without having 3 team members overwhelmingly watching me for theft clearly pretending to face up

Eventually on all occasions after I just felt too uncomfortable to concentrate
I had been asked if I need help and only on 1 out of 5 times could they actually help me anyway

I’ve left a couple forgetting that I needed some other thing
I understand loss prevention is important but is this extent necessary

I’ll be sticking to my organic market in Summer Hill has exactly same products

A huge range of just about anything vitamin wise! A Chatswood "institution". Lots of helpful advise and naturopaths etc for consultations.

The naturopaths there are amazing!! They helped me with many of my issues.

Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff especially Mavis. Had an issue with purchasing a bottle of Manuka honey that was wrongly placed in a cheaper queue. Took the honey without looking at the UMF number assuming it was 15 instead of 20. Only realised after wife paid for it. Mavis bent over backwards to work a refund for us and even gave us some freebies despite the fact that I should have checked before placing the bottle in the basket assuming it was UMF 15. Thankyou Mavis and Maya for your superb customer service.

Helpful staff, especially the nice girl who spent over ten minutes advising me on hair conditioners.
Great niche vitamins, such as non flavoured glycine, ocean sourced magnesium powder.

Excellent range of supplements and food. Helpful staff and naturopaths. Prices are very good too.

Best array of vitamins and supplements. Good discounts, accepts all credit cards. Membership provides extra discounts. Also gives discount vouchers for large purchases. Very helpful staff. Keeps record of member purchases so I can ask staff to check for a purchase of items I dont remember the brand or strength of.

I'm used to getting decent service from Mr Supplements - the staff as a whole are pretty friendly, have good knowledge and don't mind a quick chat. Pretty standard stuff, plus the store has a fairly wide assortment of supplements and health foods; fitness, general well-being etc.
But my experience last week was exceptional. I cannot recommend enough your staff member Robert (oh please let it be Robert, I'm so sorry if I'm wrong on this one!)
From the start he was a fount of knowledge. I asked him about preworkouts and not only did he recommend one to me, he referred to his past experiences with each (saying that he couldn't in good conscience refer anyone to a product he hasn't first tried) and used that to come up with the product most suited to me. Not once did he bad-mouth a product, or say that any one product was THE BEST - he took his opinion out of it, used his knowledge and the questions he asked me to come up with what, in his opinion, would suit me best.
AND HE TOOK HIS TIME! These days I find the experience in shops tends to be rushed - you in, you out, buy your thing, get going, let the next person buy their thing. I honestly felt as though he would have spent the entire afternoon with me if I had stayed. And for that I am a life-long customer.
So thank you, and I cannot recommend you enough.
He deserves a pay rise to anyone in a position to action this.

There are two stores by memory. One is closer to the top near the station. I am aware of the sort of supplements and whole-foods that the store offers, but I am not a regular customer either. My comment is purely on the items I have bought from the chain and not of the staff and business in total.

The Honest-to-Goodness items are sold in many places. I used to work under their courier service and delivered direct to these stores. Honest to Goodness is a well run business that has gained a lot of popularity through the years (originating in a warehouse in Artarmon).

Personally I agree with the prices being a little dearer than other referenced stores. I wonder if its all about that though, I recall buying my food from Alfalfa House in Enmore because I liked the ethics and wellbeing that the food afforded me. Not the prices.

I believe in these stores.

Maria's advice in store was spot on and now I see her in clinic too. Her gentle caring approach has made a positive difference to me physically and emotionally. Thank you Maria!

1/2 cup Granulated stevia (or sweetener of choice) 1/2 cup powdered peanut butter mixed with 3/4 cup water (OR 1 cup peanut butter)... 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup / 100g wholemeal spelt flour 1 cup rolled oats 1 tsp bicarbonate / baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 50 ml almond milk (more as required) 1/8 cup cacao nibs or Choc chips
Blend the dry ingredients (except cacao nibs) in a blender for 5 seconds. Place in a mixing bowl with half the cacao nibs Mix wet ingredients together and add to dry ingredients Mix together, adding more almond milk as required until a thick batter Spoon into 12 muffin cases or 1 square baking tin Sprinkle with remaining cacao nibs Bake for 12-15 mins at 160C fan forced (180C/350F) Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin.

I went for a refund at the Burwood store yesterday and it was very POOR services in comparison to other stores. The lady purposely refunded a different and less valued item on my receipt and chucked me back the receipt when finished. She was so proud of herself that she couldn’t wait to tell the store manager before I left! Can’t believe the store is making money this way and treating customers unfairly.
