Last night we were pleased to launch our new-look website (www.mcww.org.au), complete with stories that reflect our beautiful, diverse communities and the work that we do here at the Multicultural Council of Wagga Wagga.
We’re proud of our role in supporting diversity and encouraging community. We feel that the people of Wagga Wagga can also feel proud of the support they’ve shown to newcomers to our city.
There’s much to be thankful for – both as citizens whose lives have be...en enriched by the individuals and cultures that have come here, and as newcomers for the welcome and ongoing acceptance shown to them.
We think this video says it all: https://vimeo.com/245849118/49d12eb15f

If you didn't think Australians were welcoming, think again. In 2016 Jess Hackett had a vision to deliver a message on foot to Parliament - a message of welcoming and community. During this Refugee Week event, Jess will share the stories of refugees, Australian farmers and city folk and showcase the welcoming spirit in all our hearts.
