The glutes are one of the most important muscles in the body because of its size, position, and multiple layers and functions.
I see a lot more people these days that suffer from what is known by many in the fitness industry as the “sleepy butt syndrome” (SBS) Glutes can blame the constant desk sitting or all those Netflix marathons for de-activating the muscles in your derriere.
You’re not much of a sit-still type of human? Then you may have other tight muscles pulling your hips out of place, misaligning the glute muscle and resulting in an inability to activate it properly. Try this SLOW glute activation exercise next time you train legs or glutes to get them fired up before you begin your heavy lifting!

Here are some simple but highly effective leg exercises that target your glutes. Doing single leg movements will isolate each cheek 🍑 and help to identify any weaknesses in our left or right sides 😁 it’s important to get as LOW as possible and make your range of movements nice and big and controlled!

A quick Sunday leg workout from our home gym studio :-) some mornings we’re up at 4am for a workout as I start work at 6am. The pros of working from home 😁 I used to hate training legs years ago but it’s now one of fav body parts apart from shoulders to train. Who doesn’t love a COUPLES workout 💕💪🏽 No need for a gym / just do at home 😃
▶️ warm up of squat holds while passing med ball - 15 passes each way. ▶️ partner leg press 12-15 reps... ▶️ push ups 12-15 (try to stay in sync) (Beginner lvl - on knees) Then swap over. ▶️ Partner seated row - ea partner does 12-15 reps. (The other partner creates the resistance) ▶️ bunny hops 20 reps in total Swap over ▶️ partner forward/backward lunges (1 lunge forward/1 lunge backward = 1 rep) 10 reps each side ▶️ partner leg throw downs for abs 20 reps then swap over 👌🏼
Try to get through 3 ROUNDS. GO GO GO 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Aloha everyone from us in Hawai 😆 Today we thought we’d do our workout video on the shores of Hanauma Bay O’ahu! This is a simple 10 Min workout you could do anywhere at anytime. Here’s the breakdown....
... ✳️Wallsit ✳️ 20 xTri dips on partners knees ✳️ 15 x Push ups
✳️ 10 x 2 Up and downs + 2 hand slaps + 4 Mtn Clm
✳️ 20 x (Interlocking feet) sit ups
✳️ 20 x Burpee + Jump Twist
Repeat as many times as possible in a 10 min time frame 💪🏽😃🙌🏼

Holidays doesn’t always mean you stop exercising. We’re currently in Hawaii and brought just the basics for some hotel training. Equipment we brought was the TRX, micro bands and normal exercise bands. Here’s a little 7 min AMRAP we did in the morning before heading out to Pearl Harbour.
3 Rounds non stop 15 reps each - should take you approx 7 Min
