About Murraguldrie Station
Conservation Cattle farm aiming to simulate pre-European landscape function using animal impact and appropriate soil disturbance. Enhancing existing grassy eco-system flora and re-introducing many that formerly graced our paddocks.
Murraguldrie Station Description
The health and well being of all plants and animals (including humans), begins with soil health and feritility. To that end on Murraguldrie we are building soil, sequestering carbon, and enchancing biodiversity. We aim to create the conditions to enable native fauna that were once in this area to return and proliferate and share the space in a prodcutive, sustainable agricultural system. Understanding landscape function and symbiosis of all things is paramount.
In keeping with our philosophy, all those who come to live and work on Murraguldrie will enjoy the benefits of the most nutritous food including that produced in our organic vegie garden. We trust that when it comes time to leave that they will take a little of Murraguldrie with them.
