Murray River Holiday Park

The amenities are well maintained and clean,staff are friendly. It is great to be met with a name and a hand shake,can't remember the last time that happened. Regards Phill and Doreen Abbott.

This place's management sucks along with all the other services. On October 26th, 2013 we posted a review on trip advisor:
We checked in on Saturday afternoon. The cabin was clean but rooms were small and without wardrobe, toilets/ bath without shampoo/ conditioner. The entire fridge was empty. No milk was available for tea. When I asked , I was told that I should purchase myself. There was only one set of teabags. Wherever we went we never had issues as small as making tea multiple times. However when we requested more , we did not get them before it seemed like too much effort for the owner to supply them. On top of that the owner made us feel like the customer is wrong asking for multiple tea bags.
I will not recommend this to anyone.

To which , here was the management response:
Upon reading your review I think it becomes obvious that you would have been better suited to Resort style accommodation or in fact a Hotel/Motel situation.
Caravan Parks do not have a 24 hour reception or room service and we do not advertise our reception hours as being 24/7.
Tea bags...You failed to mention in your review that you rang the Emergency After Hours Bell and woke us up, to request tea bags. A few minutes later I got dressed and took the Tea Bags down to your cabin. Pretty good service I would think.
Our Budget Cabins are fully self contained/self catering units and as such the fridge is purposely left empty so guests can put their perishables away when they check in. We don't have mini bars in our park cabins

Milk.....actually, when you arrived I informed you that our delivery of milk portions had not arrived.

Now, what kind of tourist friendly accommodation will respond like this?? Not even apologizing once and blaming the customer himself?

It was neat and tidy park with unique amenities block although showers could with curtain to stop water being splash on yur clothing or towels.

Very well organised, quiet, 300 metres to restraunts and bowling club. Green grass sites, paved roads and footpaths, good facilities. Helpful owners. But fairly expensive.

Excellent park, great hosts well done to Ken, Janine & Bianca, stayed 10 nights and enjoyed every single one of them, lovely park clean & tidy with great facilities, we will definitely be back again ���

(Not happy ) with our latest visit a we have been going there for the last three years annual and not sure if under new management but first we booked in for three days as per usual but this time when we asked for fresh towels on the second day we were told that we would have to reuse the same ones
Then we had a few children in our group so after a hot day we went to there pool only there for five minutes and were told to keep the water inside the pool the kids we supervise and well behaved
Then one of our group was walking through the caravan park and got told by a staff member to get out of the way of there vehicle
Now I'm sure after there visits this is the last

I didn't like it because I got extremely cold in the cold pool!!!
