Dooley totally got into some deep relaxation as I started to work her scar lines. Must feel so good ol'mate xxx

Crikey at 12 years old learning the scratch board.
This is activity is not only good for Crikey's nails, but also the ol'brain gets a work out along with her stability core work. (as you can see not too good with stability and her back injury) ... It is really not an easy task for the old girl to go tripod on scratch the board; however Crikey never ceases to amaze me with her have a go attitude

Post massage sleepiness!
When we take our canine buddies in for soft tissue bodywork, sleepiness and fatigue maybe a result of releasing tension in the body. Tension release whether it is mentally, physically or both should not last longer than a good night's rest after the therapy session.
Make sure your dog has access to plenty of fresh clean water, along with a nice warm area to sleep comfortably a few hrs.
... After some quality rest of 1.5 - 2 hrs encourage your dog to move around for 5 or 10 minutes. This will re engage the lymphatic system helping to assist with the elimination of toxic buildup and waste products.

Recently I had the privilege of meeting Charlie and his family. I do believe I have never meet a bloke that loves his dog like Jayson does. It is so refreshing to see the bond and love these two share. What an honor for me to treat this little Bobby dazzler of a dog! See ya again Chaz 🐾💛

... The big fella was in for some helpful maintenance therapy on a sore hip.
Otto is so in sync with me he's up on the table and just lays himself down where he stays until I am finished and longer if I dont boot him out of the therapy room!

Rebels first time learning the scratch board... this 🐕🐾🎓 is smart!
There are 3 little videos put together as one, showing how Miss Rebel the Aussie Shepherd learnt to use the scratch board in under 3.5 mins!
You can see Rebel working out what to do as we mark and reward for the correct behaviors. I never intended on this video being shown, however Reb smashed it out of the ball park so here it is all very raw, worts and all!

Here we are the last group of Muscles & More classes held while Gail was away on holidays. Lots of fun had with clients during this time. We challenged a few folk and their canine companions to swap handlers and do some of the activities with someone else's dog! Lots of smiles and laughter was had. What a smart little cookie this fella is

I just love seeing Louey when he comes to visit. The first thing I get is a big dog kiss from him. I feel pretty special that he likes me enough to show me I am special to him.
Louey is a fantastic specimen of raw fed shiney canine. He's a ball of muscle and lives life and not to mention this bloke is one smart dog with many tricks up his sleeve!

Very proud of these kids - Maude, Rebel, Charli, Meg, Bubs (Goldie hard to see in the last pic) and the Muscles & More staff Crikey Dooley and Midge all doing one handler group, off leash, sit stays!!
So so stoked with this training crew. To have 7 and 8 dogs doing this at the same time under one handler, makes me very very proud of them!

What a fun filled week we have had at Muscles & More while Gail from Urban Canines has been away holidays.
I hope I have done Gail justice after being asked to take over classes this week. If nothing else I have stepped outside of my comfort zone, once again this year and worked on something that doesnt come naturally or easy to me.
Speaking and being out in the public's eye is definitely not my forte, however I do think I am getting better and a little more comfortable ea...ch time I step outside that comfort box of mine!
