Mushin Martial Arts teaches Jiu Jitsu (Machado BJJ), Karate (Kyokushin) and Kickboxing (Muay Thai) for both kids and adults. Incorporating aspects of self-defense, competition and fitness in a fun and friendly environment. The word "Mushin" comes from the zen philosophy for the mental state of 'without mind' or to have a clear mind free from thoughts of anger, fear and ego as a highly trained martial artist enters combat or everyday activities. This state is the foundation for what we do and how we train, not fixed or occupied by thought or emotion and thus open to everything.
