I came here with a group of friends a little over 2 weeks ago. The food, especially the Wagyu meat, is absolutely divine. Sauces were delicious. Other dishes like the Karage chicken, salads and yukke beef were fantastic too. In terms of food, Musou ranks very highly compared to other Japanese Bbq venues in Sydney. The atmosphere/decor is also welcoming and most importantly not claustrophobic. However, when you spend $85pp excluding drinks, this is a premium price and youРђЎd expect the buffet to be exactly that - all you can eat. We found the service very slow and it got slower as the evening went on and time to eat ran out. It was almost like they either couldnРђЎt keep up with our orders or were deliberately taking their time so we wouldnРђЎt eat as much. If they canРђЎt handle the volume of food a group of hungry 9 can consume, then donРђЎt be misleading and advertise a buffet. Towards the end, staff advised us it was time up and final orders were to be placed, so we ordered at least two more plates of bbq wagyu meat. These plates never came. And despite our insistence that we had ordered, they didnРђЎt honour our order and insisted that the kitchen had closed. How hard is it to put raw meat on a plate? They also forgot my roasted green tea icecream and again insisted that they didnРђЎt receive the memo. So either their electronic ordering is dysfunctional or staff are lazy, slow, rude and lack attention to detail. We left - 1k poorer and only just satisfied. My husband had to eat cereal at home because he didnРђЎt have enough in the end. TLDR - food is delicious, buffet is expensive, IРђЎm still not quite sure if itРђЎs really worth it given the cost and the amount of food you really get, and staff attitude and service is both slow and poor.
