About Namethisfilm
Name This Film is a collaborative film project set in a bar made by local filmmakers. It’s aim is to put the energy that is invested in vast amounts of short films, into a full length feature film, that ties together as a launching pad for everyone involved.
Starting out as a short /teaser to be complete in February 2011, the project will be developed by multiple writer /directors all taking on a different ‘episode’ of the overall vision. Characters within the film will cross paths throughout the separate sections that will each have their own theme and ultimately service the complete work as a playful look at modern morality within relationships and the juggling of following ones needs while still services ones needs.
Simple and stylish. Well contained and self budgeted. It combines the passion and drive of independent filmmakers with the marketing potential of a high profile bar.
