Natalie Barney is a French jewellery designer who for almost 20 years has called Australia home. She is passionate about her business and designs beautiful, unique jewellery that: • brings excitement and joy to people who wear it • perfectly reflects a special moment, memory, emotion or achievement • blends everyday practical with rare elegance and style. It was as a teenager in France that Natalie first fell in love with beautiful jewellery, marvelling at gorgeous pieces sparkling in the windows of her town jewellery stores. She worked during the summer to save money for the holidays, but would always keep enough to buy a lovely ring, bracelet or earrings. Even then, wearing jewellery made her feel more confident, comfortable and elegant. Special. After working in marketing for many years she finally followed her calling and opened Natalie Barney Jewellery, a French-inspired boutique jewellery boudoir on Sydney's Lower North Shore. For almost 10 wonderful years she sourced gems and jewellery from around the world, sold famous brands and lesser known pieces, and devoured everything she could about the art of jewellery design. In 2012, she released her first collection: ‘Les Cabochons'. and in December 2016, she bid adieu to her store to focus on her true love, designing jewellery that makes people feel the way it has made her feel since she was that young girl.
