Raise Awareness
Necksafe is a not for profit that strives to raise awareness about the risk involved when a head or neck injury isn’t managed correctly by the first responders. We believe that with the right training all first responders can help reduce the number of spinal cord injuries by 25% and concussion by 50% .
Advocacy
We believe in the motto ‘Prevention is better than Cure’, with this in mind Necksafe has been continuously working with government decision makers to implement stronger safety regulations for contact sport especially in the case of children and young adults. Legal action cannot reverse the injuries sustained in an accident, but education before the injury occurs can help prevent others from becoming victims.
Educating all concerned parties
One in every four injuries can be prevented through proper handling – this is why Necksafe also provides training for anyone who might be a first responder - anyone from a doctor to an ambulance staff member to even a football coach can become a member of NeckSafe and receive the training. Our main aim has always been to reduce the number of preventative spinal injuries through our training programs.

Research
Necksafe is an independent researcher of preventable head and neck injuries. We conduct research within all aspects of the industry from Motor Vehicle Accidents to injuries on the football field! We stay abreast with development of technological advancements in detecting spinal injury and concussion as soon as they occur.
