Newcastle Aikikai Description
Newcastle Aikikai provides high-quality instruction in the martial arts of Aikido and Iaido, and the Zen Buddhist practice of Zazen meditation.
Our dojo is a dedicated, full-time Aikido dojo in Newcastle, two hours north of Sydney. It is one of few full-time martial arts spaces in the Newcastle /Hunter region.
We have an established overseas network in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan, and aim to practise in a progressive and mindful way.

This Tuesday evening we will be joined by Sensei Marie Petery 6th dan for training at the 5:10 and 6:20 pm classes. All members are encouraged to come along and train with/ learn from this great teacher from Alice Springs.
