Newcastle Aquatic Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to a wide range of clients including post surgery orthopaedics (joint replacement), back injuries, stroke, MS, muscular dystrophy, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, chronic pain management and rehabilitation. We welcome all patients: private, workers compensation, third party, Medicare (EPC) and Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

Newcastle Aquatic Physiotherapy is registered with Fitness Australia and recognised by many health funds as a fitness facility.

Physiotherapy is a Health Care Profession concerned with human function and movement. Every year we help hundreds of people manage the effects of illness, accidents, disability and the stresses and strains of everyday life. Physiotherapists use a combination of manual, electro and exercise therapy in an effort to alleviate the pain and restriction of an individual’s particular condition.

Our treatment rooms are separate to our gym and hydrotherapy areas for your privacy and convenience. Acupuncture is also available on request. Your physiotherapist will assess your needs after taking a history of your problem and running you through an individual assessment. He /she will then prescribe the appropriate treatment protocol for you to achieve the best possible outcome or recovery time.



Private patients can self refer to our Practice for therapy or you can be referred by your GP. Workers Compensation, Third Party and Department of Veteran’s Affairs patients will require a Doctor’s referral.
