Newcastle Business Improvement Association

Located in the heart of the city centre, Newcastle Now Business Improvement Association (BIA) serves a 60 block area that consists of approximately 1000 businesses, property owners and tenants and attracts thousands of employees, tourists and shoppers every day. This geographical area is known to locals as the Civic Precinct, Darby Street, East End and West End. We are an independent, not-for-profit, member organisation that works to support business activity in the city centre. We do this directly by providing a full member support program, and indirectly by nurturing the business ecosystem in Newcastle city centre. We play a facilitator role in developing strategic alliances and partnerships which will strengthen local business in the area.
