If there are any members or businesses who would be interested in helping to support our team we'd love to hear from you as the more financi...al support means more coaching hours on-water for our team.

We arrived and found that we had 2 seperate tables for 1 family lunch, we asked to move it or change it in some way and we’re told no. 3/4 of the family were done eating lunch for 15 minutes before we had even received our meals & they were really average. Half the staff were terrible & really unfriendly especially one in particular, if you don’t like people or working on weekends, don’t work in hospitality.

User

Although the location is nice, the restaurant food is of a low standard. The ambiance resembles a pub scene with little service.

User

Good food lovely service . Had a
Lovely time. Tha nks.

User

First visit. Had the special Fish & chips. Value for money. Great friendly service. Will certainly visit again.

User

Good burger, it was a Friday lunch time though so food took a while to come out 😉

User

Excellent facilities during our overnight stay here while cruising up the coast. Secure, all the amenities you need and a great restaurant/bar with welcoming staff.

User

If there was a 0 star option, I would select it. poor service, especially since our meals took 1 and a half hours to come after we ordered them. Expensive food, the chicken and prawn marsala was $32 and featured 3 prawn and a single piece of chicken. Also the fish and chips had barely any chips.

User

Had lunch here. Great views and friendly staff. The foods good too.

User

Well, it's my club, but it's a seller's market as the closest one is at the lake. Just focusing on the facilities, it's a nice view, generally friendly and helpful staff, food is...ok. On the expensive side for a club. The music ranges from the tragically hilarious to the hilariously tragic. A reasonably wide range of beers, no genuine craft ones just yet though. Newcastle has changed-time to get with the program a bit really NCYC!

User

The club is great. The people who have taken over the bistro have done a great job. The food is better than the last people and its great value for money

User

What a place to be on a miserable rainy Sunday afternoon for Lunch. We had booked early so this gave us a table by the window. A fantastic view of the harbour whilst enjoying a few pre lunch drinks. I even found ice cold Asahi beer on tap, well that won me !! The Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club is a club/bar/restaurant situated beside a marina so the food is more like Bistro style. By all counts we all enjoyed our food. There is just that something watching the rain poring down over the harbour whilst you are cozy and warm inside.... i think we were about the first to arrive and the last to leave 5 hours later...
Since this review, from about mid 2016 to now, the quality of food served has gone down a star or two. We had to send back 2 steak dinners the other night with the steak so tough, my dog could not get into it ...
