The Newcastle Junior Cycling Squad is a road cycling development program for local juniors between 12-19 years of age.
Newcastle Junior Cycling Squad Description
The Newcastle Junior Cycling Squad runs its cycling program through Newcastle PCYC. The squad runs 2 training sessions each week, Monday and Thursday 0600-0730. Training starts and finishes at Newcastle PCYC. In the event of wet weather, the squad has access to indoor training facilities.
The squad is run by a number of qualified cycling coaches the ride with the squad. As safety on the road is a priority, the squad is always accompanied by a follow motorbike for all road training sessions.
