NewDay is not your typical church. We’re not typical because we don’t want to offer another dead-end religion, but new opportunities for life, meaning and purpose.

So, if you're thinking, "I wonder what the people are like at NewDay?" let me give you some inside information. First, we like each other. We get on, and really enjoy spending time together. When people come to NewDay for the first time they pretty quickly work out that we want to get on with them too. You see, people, belonging, and acceptance, are all really important to us. We don’t care about what people wear, or what language people use, or what sexual orientation people are, or what addictions people have, or how unchurch-aware people are, or how important people think they might be, or whether-or-not people believe right things. NewDay is just a very honest group of people who believe that every day is a new day for building authentic relationships with each other and with a God who deeply cares and renews everyone personally.

Second, and that’s why we want to intentionally love others. We generously give of who we are, and what we have, in ways that will genuinely help. NewDay doesn’t exist for itself and our motivation is not to get anything in return. We don’t give of ourselves to get more bums on seats, or more money in the bank, or more applause in the gloat account. That may happen, but our simple inspiration is driven by the fact that we are forever loved by Jesus, and every day is a new day to help someone else experience that.

Third, which is why NewDay is a community of people willing to have-a-go. Change, questioning the status quo, thinking outside the box, bringing a meaningful contribution, being vision determined, staying relevant, and always looking for new ways to connect and serve people are all very important to us. You see, our belief is that at NewDay everyone can have-a-go at investing their unique strengths, abilities, skills and life in order to being new days of hope, love and faith to this world.

Since the Christian Church began it has gathering together for support, inspiration, community and to express devotion to Jesus. There are a few ways that NewDay gathers together during the week, but the two big ways when we are all mostly together are on Sundays:
• 10: 00 am – Modern, easy, lively, authentic Celebration
• 5: 00 pm – Youth, edgy, loud, meaningful Celebration
