Nick Scali Furniture Chatswood (Permanently Closed)

A store spread across two levels with parking at the back and a Nick scali online section.

The couch i bought from here is great! my family loves laying on it whilst watching movies in my theater and my only upset was that this couch replaced a nick scali couch my family bought 15 years ago.

Looks like The sales rep inside is very prous with Nick scalli. Keep talking about they have 50 franchises,we are the top furniture brand around Australia. Just talk shit. The quality of the furniture looks so so.

I have to say I had a bad experience buying a lounge from Nick Scali Chatswood.
First expensive peice of furniture we had decided to buy for our home, we went in on a Saturday afternoon, it was close to closing which I assume is the reason behind being rushed by the sales rep.
I explained that I wanted a 5 peice set, 2 recliners, I middle divider and 2 singles with an arm rest on either side as they all clip together, we chose this setting because we knew it would fit into our apartment.
Just about to pay and realised he was about to order the wrong configuration, another 10 minutes and he had the another quote for us with what we wanted...
The couch arrived 3 weeks after the agreed delivery time. The issue is the two singles with an arm rest on either side was noted down as a 2.5 seater which was one piece, not what we had asked for, I guess it was lost in translation, which is a big mistake especially when we had specified what we wanted, it was not a cheap buy...
The delivery guys came on time, they bought the 2 recliners up and the center piece then told us the 2.5 seater would not fit. I called the shop they told me that the back of the couch disconnects, so I unwrapped the couch only to find out the clips that disconnected the back didn't exist, after unwrapping the couch I was told by the surly delivery man that they cannot take it back to the warehouse as it had been unwrapped, so I was left with an oversized couch in the garage.
The following day I called the head office to see what they could do, I was told they have to call the supervisor and they will be back to me, two days later my husband called, he was told the same thing, 5 days later I called for the last time, I was once again told the same thing.
For a mistake of the sales reps and unhelpfulness of the head office I finally realized I was stuck with the couch, therefore having to figure out what to do. I ended up having to pay a further $600 on having someone come and lift the couch over my balcony, another $600 will be spent to get this couch out of my home when I move.
Very unhappy at the mistake of the sales reps, lack of contact and inability to give me a simple phone call.
I recommend to buy you couch elsewhere.

very pool service and quality. delivery delayed twice. out of the eight chairs I bought five of them had issue in a month ! endless waiting for repair. never consider their product....
